Captions

Captions is an AI video editor available on phone and computer, via browser or the App Store and Google Play. Users upload existing footage or generate new footage, pick an editing style, and the AI cuts scenes, overlays B-roll, adds custom zooms, music, and transitions across the whole video. The page states that users can make edits with simple prompts in a chat-based editor, and that the tool supports vertical and horizontal video for social content, video ads, podcast clips, tutorials, and product assets. Captions also offers auto-generated captions with stylized fonts, translated subtitles in 100+ languages, AI avatars or digital twins, eye contact correction, denoising, pause and filler word trimming, and royalty-free music or sound effects generation. The page notes that Mirage Studio has been merged into Captions. Signing up is free, though some features require a paid subscription.
