Chiaro

Chiaro lets users point their camera at any artwork or landmark to hear its story in seconds, with audio starting quickly so users can keep their eyes on the view. It explains what a work is, who made it and why it matters, goes deeper in museums (composition, symbols, background), and answers typed or spoken questions aloud, checking the web for current information. The page also describes a map of nearby picks, an evening recap of the day's photos, day plans with opening hours, weather and a rain backup, and trip recaps after leaving a city. It offers free audio guides for 80 museums and landmarks in the browser without an account, and syncs guides, chats and Filos via Sign in with Apple. The app is described as free to try.
