Golden Record

Golden Record helps families bring stories and photographs together into a book. Users can start with a live AI interview that asks follow-up questions, upload an existing recording such as an interview, voice note, or old family recording, or write a memory or whole chapter themselves. Users can choose first- or third-person writing, review and edit every chapter, arrange photographs, choose the cover, and check a PDF proof. Family members can be invited to add photographs, names, and stories. The page states books are private by default, original recordings stay in the family archive, and users can create and download a book now. Physical printing is described as currently available through a private pilot. The site also mentions a Record a story feature that works on phone and continues on Mac or the web, an Ever Archive for long-term preservation, and an iPhone app download.
