MailBuddy

MailBuddy is a Chrome extension that works inside Gmail to help users reply to emails faster. Users open an email, click reply, and use the MailBuddy panel to generate a response, optionally specifying instructions such as tone (polite, formal, funny, brief), specific details, or format (bullet points, tips). The user reviews, edits, or regenerates the draft before sending. The page states the extension is free, requires no set-up or account, and works only for replies, not new emails. It currently runs in Google Chrome, with more browsers said to be coming soon. The page also states the extension only accesses email text once activated and does not collect data. The page mentions a GPT-4-powered extension in some places and a GPT-3.5-powered extension in others.
