NotePerformer 5

NotePerformer 5, produced by Wallander Instruments, enhances playback in Sibelius, Dorico, and Finale. According to the page, it analyses the score to perform instruments with natural musical phrasing, includes its own large-scale modern symphonic orchestra sound library, and is designed to be easy to install and use like the notation software's built-in sounds. It supports special techniques (availability depends on the notation software), offers section-building for strings, brass and woodwinds, and provides a free 30-day trial with one-hour sessions. Licensing options include a single-user license, a rent-to-own plan, and site licenses for multiple users. The page notes that VST3 hosting has been discontinued with NotePerformer 5, and that NotePerformer adds a one-second playback delay and does not support ReWire.
