About Winch

Winch

Winch is an App Store optimization (ASO) tool for macOS that covers both the App Store and Google Play. According to the page, it tracks keywords across 175 countries, scores and drafts store listings (name, subtitle, keywords) in every language, produces captioned store art in the sizes both stores take, and sorts app reviews into themes with daily updates. An in-app agent can be asked in plain language to run searches, check ranks, draft listings and plan new apps, and it can also be used as an MCP server with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other clients. The page states that Winch has no model of its own and uses AI through tools the user already pays for, such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Ollama or OpenRouter. It says nothing is written to the stores without the user's confirmation, and that data stays on the user's Mac with no telemetry or tracking. Connecting App Store Connect or Play Console is optional and adds the user's own listings, reviews and store analytics. Windows is not supported yet.
