AI Takeaway

AI Takeaway lets users paste a YouTube link to get a summary, key takeaways each linked to a timestamp in the original video, a searchable timestamped transcript, and the ability to chat with the video with answers that cite the moment they come from. It also offers a Hub of hand-picked long-form AI and tech talks and interviews, each with a summary, key takeaways, and transcript, which are free to read. A Chrome extension lets users generate takeaways while watching YouTube; it runs only when the icon is clicked and reads only the current tab's address. New accounts receive 10 free credits. Creating a takeaway for a new video costs 10 credits and each chat question costs 1 credit. Credit packs are one-time purchases that do not expire, with no subscription. Videos without captions, or that are live or private, cannot be processed, and their credits are returned automatically. Takeaways are saved to a library and can be reopened free.
