nymos is an AI file renamer for macOS 14 (Sonoma) and newer. It reads what is inside a file rather than its old filename, suggests a name based on a template such as date, type, vendor and amount, and names each file in its own language by default. Every suggestion waits for user approval; nothing is renamed automatically, files are not moved or reorganized, and every rename can be undone. Supports 57 file types, including PDFs with OCR, Office documents, iPhone HEIC photos, plain text, Markdown and CSV.
